CeBeDeM

The sheet music library contains in principle all published and unpublished works of its members. In the reading and listening Room, open Monday, Thuesday, Thursday (9 am - 5 pm) and on Friday (9 am - 3 pm), every score, gramophone or tape-recording from the library may be consulted. Single copies may only be studied on the spot. CeBeDeM has the disposal of 2.400 orchestral performance materials available by rental on behalf of the composer concerned.

Library copies may never be used for public or broadcast performances. In case of commercially published works, people are referred directly to the publisher. Concerning works of CeBeDeM's published repertory, artists are kindly invited to buy commercial copies (chamber music and orchestral score) or to hire the orchestral material.

You can loan 5 scores at a time.
Our library holds exclusively classical contemporary Belgian music.

Borrowing rules

Scores can be loaned from the Cebedem library for a period of one month. On request, this term can be extended by one more month.
Scores returned by post should be sent by registered mail.
For scores not returned at the end of the two months allowed, a fine of €5,00 will be imposed. Every supplementary month’s delay will be fined an extra €2,50.
Each score which has not been returned after three recalls will automatically be considered to be lost and an invoice of €50,00 per score will be sent to the borrower to compensate the costs.
Scores are lent under the condition that they are neither copied, reproduced, nor passed on.
